A special thank you to all the performers, businesses, and visitors involved in the First Thursdays event. The weather gorgeous, which served as a foreshadow to the great event that lay ahead. The opening of Chaibo was a spectacular event, including a ribbon cutting in the presence of several state and city officials. The presence of outside businesses like Country Good’s BBQ, Il Ricordi, and Parkhill Pizza (among others!) brought even more vitality to the downtown area. Performances in the Wine Cellar, Espresso, Rollstone Studios, Faith United Church, Design at 639, and the Armory (again, among others!) brought music and smiles to everyone who experienced them.
Now, planning begins for the June First Thursday celebration. Next month will have a Green theme, showing Fitchburg’s environmentally friendly side. If you missed out on May 6th, make sure you don’t miss out on June 3rd!
