Rollstone Studios is an artist run studio and gallery located at 633 Main St. in downtown Fitchburg, MA. They are typically open from 11 am – 4 pm Thursday thru Sunday, but they pull out the stops for First Thursdays every month and stay open till 8. The gallery showcases a wide variety of art and artists, including the work of Anne Giancola, Camilo Neves, Helen Obermeyer-Simmons, Jan Queijo, Jeffu Warmouth, Leslie MacPhail, Reverend BLAMO, and more. Rollstone is proud to be home of the Fitchburg Cultural Alliance, as well as hosting and supporting many community events taking place in Fitchburg.
This First Thursday, May 6th, Rollstone Studios will be hosting a “Seniorz” exhibit, showcasing work from local seniors, an Art of Colored Pencil exhibit, showcasing the work of artist Gary Ruuska, “Make Your Own Photo Cards” with John Nault, and “Dance to Break the Silence” performed by FSC dancers! Also, they will be hosting special guest food vendor, Il Ricordi. This First Thursday aims to be the best yet, thanks in part to Rollstone Studios, their awesome exhibitions, and their commitment to the event for the past two years.
