Located at 610 Main Street, the Fitchburg Public Library offers something for everyone. The library has events such as concerts, visits from authors, book sales and story time for kids. They also have a Book Club, Knit and Crochet Club and Lego Club. The library offers tons of free movies, music, computers for public use, magazines, newspapers and, of course- books!
The Fitchburg Public Library has been involved with First Thursdays every month since it first began. Their First Thursdays events often include activities with crafts, stories and sometimes food! This year’s theme is “traveling to other countries.” On Thursday, May 6th you are invited to join the library as they ‘visit’ Mexico with crafts and activities to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. This event is from 5:30pm – 6:30pm and is free and open to all ages! Megan, who is a Girl Scout, will lead the event. Hope to see you there!
