The Rabbit Hole is a book, music and novelty store located on Main Street. The store consists of two floors, with a winding staircase leading from one to the other, which provides the store with enough space for both merchandise and community events.
Downstairs you can find a wide variety of books and graphic novels. The book selection extends to the second floor, where vinyl records and CDs can be found, as well as posters, games and other trinkets.
The Rabbit Hole embodies a very welcoming atmosphere, offering customers a place to sit and read, or just hang out. This same space is used for all of their events, which include open-mic nights, poetry readings, talks from authors, and many different activities planned for children.
Exciting examples of their upcoming events include live music (ranging from folk singers to local hardcore bands), a children’s’ poetry reading, and Texas Hold ‘em lessons.
The Rabbit Hole holds some of First Thursday’s most exciting events. For the May 6th First Thursday, they have invited an indie rock band called the Bella Birds to play music from 7-8 PM. No matter what they have going on, First Thursday activities held at the Rabbit Hole always encompass liveliness, interaction and a positive energy.
